I edited this video together using visual aids from our music video and both mine and Ellie's final digipak and magazine advertisement designs. Ellie and I recorded a discussion together regarding the design, impressions and the decision behind the design choices of our music video. Then separately recorded the discussion behind our design choices for our individual digipak and magazine advertisement. I then edited these elements together in a video that shows the process of our ancillary texts and music video creation. In relation to how I have branded our chosen artist, Tame Impala, I found that to answer this question I would have to refer back to the research I had conducted throughout the courses as branding is the process of conveying an appealing music video and ancillary text to my target audience. Creating consistent work plays a huge
roll in Tame Impala's branding, taking this into consider I made sure that my music video and ancillary texts, both my digipak and magazine advertisement all showcased abstract and colourful text, patterns and imagery. I stove to create a design that matched the Tame Impala brand I was creating throughout the course. Making sure to incorporate my record label logo I designed right at the beginning of the course adding to how I branded Tame Impala in my own unique way. This question has been discussed and answered in full within the video above.
